Tonight's workout rocked my socks! It was a circuit workout where we completed the exercise for 45 seconds and rested for 10 (or, in several cases, 15) seconds. It included 10 exercises, and I did three rounds. The hardest part was actually the 20 minutes of "steady state" cardio I had to complete at the end - running on the treadmill at one consistent pace felt super tedious after so many interval workouts lately. But it felt great to push through something so challenging.
Since I got home so late, Terry took care of the grocery shopping and the cooking tonight. He made a fantastic meal!

Yep! UCLA is at the top of the list for healthy schools, which considers the following:

The school offers an impressive outdoor rec center (in addition to a traditional indoor one) with a team-building ropes course, pools, kayaking, and picnic areas. And if all that relaxing gets too strenuous, students will appreciate the health center (ranked number one by The Princeton Review), which offers acupuncture and massage therapy. There’s also nutrition programming from the health center and the comprehensive FITWELL program with fitness classes, online educational resources, mind and body workshops, and even chair massages.
As a health blogger and Bruin, I'm especially proud today. And I definitely agree with the list, because we have excellent health programs on campus, tons of health facilities, and world class medical centers. Also featured on the list: Stanford, West Point, Rice, UC Santa Barbara (my future sister-in-law's alma mater!), and Tufts.
