Weekend Highlights

Our hike this morning:










LA folks, this hike is fantastic, especially if you take your dog hiking. We don't have a dog, but we still had fun. Dogs are allowed off-leash! Or at least most of the dogs were off-leash, so I assume it's allowed. But anyway, we loved the hike.

Next stop: Farmer's market




We ventured out to a movie early in the afternoon (This is the End--funny at times but far too vulgar for me), then chilled at home and booked our Europe trip!!!

I mentioned it previously, but Terry and I are planning a trip to Europe this fall. Our stops include:
  • Luzern, Switzerland
  • Salzburg, Austria
  • Munich, Germany (during Oktoberfest---my beer-loving husband and I will be in heaven!)
  • Prague, Czech Republic
We have our flights and hotels booked! Any suggestions for restaurants, must-see sights, and other tips would be greatly appreciated!

    I've been lost up in that area of LA when I came to visit a friend so we went on that hike. You are going to have a wonderful vacation. I haven't ever been to those areas and I have no tips, but I hope you enjoy every minute.

    I went to Salzburg, Munich and Prague during my study abroad year in college! Super jealous :)

    While I don't have much advice since it has been 12 years since my last trip to Europe, I would definitely say visit Mount Pilatus in Switzerland. http://www.raileurope.com/activities/mount-pilatus/index.html

    I can still close my eyes and see the amazing views. :)
