Delta Weekend

Since Terry is leaving tomorrow for a business trip, I've spent every spare moment squeezing in some time with him. He'll be gone for quite awhile, and even though I get to visit him, I'm always sad when he's away for such a long time. Luckily I'll spend the rest of this week with my parents and then I leave to see Terry on Monday for a whole week!

This weekend we drove up to the Bay Area to see my parents. Poor Scout was a champ on the long drive, even through lots of traffic. He cuddled up with us while we worked on some crosswords!

Then, on Saturday, we drove to the delta with my parents and one of my best friends, Jenn. The weekend was filled with great food and drinks, fun games, paddleboarding and paddleboating, and skiing. Jenn used to ski as a kid and popped right up on her first try in the water! It was the easiest "lesson" we've ever taught. Terry learned to ski a few years ago and is already awesome. And the rest of the weekend was pure relaxation.

World's most uncomfortable hammock chair?

Catching up on Royal Baby news!

Back at home, we have spent some mellow time together, mostly revolving around food.

Last night's dinner

Today's lunch at The Counter with some of our friends

I hope you're having a fantastic week so far!
